About Tammie McGee, Founder of TMC Inkwell

Hi, I’m Tammie McGee — founder of TMC Inkwell, LLC.

At my core, I’m a writer. Not just a technical writer, but a storyteller who believes that language — when it’s clear, intentional, and true — can change the way we connect with the world around us.

I’ve spent over 30 years in IT support, Help Desk management, and equipment procurement. I earned my technical writing certification from Kennesaw State University back in 2005, and since then, I’ve been blending precision with purpose. My goal isn’t just to create documentation — it’s to help you create direction.

Whether I’m building a user guide or collaborating with a founder on their first pitch, I approach each project with a mix of heart and hard skill. I care deeply about how things are said, not just what’s being said — because the right words, in the right structure, can make all the difference.

My work is shaped by more than just experience — it’s shaped by curiosity. I bring a global lens to everything I do, and I love learning what drives people. That curiosity fuels my commitment to helping others find their voice, whether you’re a nonprofit, a startup, or a Fortune 500 company.

Through TMC Inkwell, I offer services that include:

  • Writing and maintaining user guides, manuals, release notes, MOPs, and hardware reference guides

  • Verifying software UI changes based on technical requirements

  • Supporting teams throughout the SDLC and UX process

  • Developing internal processes and documentation systems

  • Managing teams and allocating resources with intention and care

  • Researching and writing validated training materials for Knowledge Base publication

If you’re looking for someone who can bring structure to your ideas and soul to your content, I’d be honored to work with you.
